How the La Gomera - Málaga route works
We collect from your home, load at San Sebastián de La Gomera Port and make the inter-island link to Tenerife. There your cargo enters our El Mayorazgo Industrial Estate facilities, is consolidated into a container and embarks toward Cádiz Port, from where it goes up by road to Málaga. To the maritime transit of about 8 days you must add the link, which depends on ferry departures.
The practical difference of having our own warehouse is this: your things wait for the ship under cover and insured, not on the dock. And they leave when the container leaves, not before. The route in the opposite direction is moves from Málaga to La Gomera.
Where we collect in La Gomera
We collect in San Sebastián de La Gomera, Valle Gran Rey, Vallehermoso, Hermigua, Agulo, Alajeró and Playa de Santiago. On an island crossed by Garajonay National Park, with very winding mountain roads and villages in ravines, the collection vehicle is sized to each access point: a truck doesn't always fit, and planning ahead is what avoids surprises.

Where we deliver in Málaga
The usual destination from La Gomera is the western coast of the province: Estepona, Manilva, Casares and San Pedro de Alcántara, in addition to Marbella. We also deliver in Málaga city, in the rest of the Costa del Sol and in inland areas. As with any coastal destination, we check beforehand building access schedules and garage access, which usually has low clearance.

Given the size of shipments leaving the island, consolidated groupage is standard: your cargo shares a container with others making the same route and you pay by actual volume. The exclusive container is for complete households. On a route with transhipment, groupage also helps: each departure is better utilized.
Departure procedures
There is DUA and customs clearance when leaving the Canary Islands. With change of habitual residence and used personal goods, VAT exemption is possible.
