Car transport between islands and with the Mainland
We move your vehicle between islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro) and on the Canary Islands ↔ Mainland routes. If you move to the islands or return to the Mainland, we coordinate the car with the rest of your national move or between islands so everything arrives together.
Documentation and insurance
To transport your vehicle we need its documentation (registration document and technical form) and your ID. The car travels insured throughout the journey. Keep in mind that, when transferring a vehicle to the Canary Islands from the Mainland, the IEDMT (vehicle registration tax) may apply: we guide you and you can find more information in our guide on IEDMT in the Canary Islands.
Price of car transport to the Canary Islands
The price depends on the route (between islands or with the Mainland), the vehicle size and whether you choose collection and home delivery. As a guide, car transport on Mainland routes usually ranges between 1.200 € and 1.800 €, but the exact price depends on your case. Ask us for a firm quote without obligation. Under maritime transport regulations, the vehicle is usually shipped empty or with very few belongings. If you need to move boxes or furniture, it is best to include them in your move. Ask us about your case and we will tell you what is allowed.
It depends on the route. Between islands it is usually a matter of a few days; on mainland routes the time is somewhat longer depending on ship frequency. We give you the estimated time when quoting.
