At Horizont Atlantic we have been doing office and company relocations in Gran Canaria for over 15 years from our base in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. We know that relocating an office is not moving boxes: it's moving an entire team's work without anyone noticing. That's why we plan each relocation so that your activity doesn't stop: we operate outside business hours, on weekends or in phases, with disassembly and assembly of furniture, labeled packaging of IT equipment by workstation and confidential handling of files. The result is that on Monday your staff sits down at their new location, plugs in and keeps working.
Office relocations without stopping your activity
The real cost of a company relocation is not the van: it's the lost working hours. An office stopped for two days means unattended clients, halted orders and lost billing. Our goal is to reduce that downtime to zero or near zero.
To achieve this, we work in three ways, depending on what best suits your company:
- Outside business hours and on weekends: the team arrives Friday afternoon or Saturday, empties, relocates and sets up, and by Monday everything is operational at the new location.
- In phases or by departments: we move one area first while another continues producing, and so on. Ideal for large companies or those serving the public that cannot close.
- Night shifts: when the building or business center only allows operations outside business hours.
Before we touch anything, we put the relocation plan in writing: what moves, in what order, who is your company's contact and what time each area is ready. No improvisation on moving day.
Areas of Gran Canaria where we work
Our office is in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, so we know well the particulars of each business area on the island: the access points, parking, loading and unloading times and the regulations of each business center. We cover all of Gran Canaria, with special activity in:
- Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: port area, Mesa y López and the Triana-Vegueta axis, where offices, businesses and shops are concentrated on streets with restricted loading and unloading.
- Industrial parks: El Sebadal, Las Torres and Arinaga, for warehouses, storage and technical offices with loading dock and heavy furniture.
- Telde and its industrial and services sector.
- Southern business area: Maspalomas and San Bartolomé de Tirajana, with offices in the tourism, hospitality and services sectors.
If your company relocates between islands or to mainland Spain, we also coordinate it: we manage maritime transport and the destination connection so you have a single contact from start to finish.
Disassembly and assembly of office furniture
Office furniture is not transported assembled: it is properly disassembled, protected and reassembled at the destination. Our team handles the entire process so your staff doesn't have to move a single bolt:
- Workstations: desks, wings, storage units and drawers, disassembled and numbered by station.
- Cabinets and file units: orderly emptying, transport and repositioning in the same layout.
- Partitions and dividers: disassembly of office partitions and reassembly according to the new floor plan.
- Meeting and executive rooms: large tables, shelving and valuable furniture with reinforced protection.
If you provide it, we work based on the new office floor plan, so each desk, cabinet and monitor lands directly in its place. No stacking in a hallway for your team to arrange later.
Protection and transport of IT equipment
IT equipment is the most delicate and most critical in an office: if a device arrives damaged or a cable is lost, that workstation won't start. We treat it with a specific protocol:
- Packing and labeling by workstation: each computer, monitor, phone and cabling is packed and labeled with the source and destination workstation, so reinstallation is immediate.
- Protection of screens and CPUs with specific transport materials, and dedicated boxes for peripherals and cables.
- Coordination with your IT department or IT provider: we adjust to when they power down and start systems so service disruption is minimal.
- Servers and racks: reinforced handling and priority transport for the most sensitive equipment.
We transport, protect and reposition the hardware at each workstation; we handle network and server reconnection together with your technical staff to respect your configuration.
Archive and confidential documentation
Many companies handle sensitive documentation: contracts, personnel files, customer data or accounting information. That archive is relocated with the same care as equipment, and with confidentiality guarantees:
- Sealed and numbered archive boxes, with inventory, so you always know which box contains what and where it goes.
- Confidentiality agreements signed by our team if your company requests it, especially in legal, healthcare, financial or administrative sectors.
- Clear chain of custody: documentation is not left visible or handled outside the relocation process.
If you need interim storage because the new location is not yet ready or you are planning renovations, we have storage space for furniture and archives for as long as needed, with coordinated access.
Technical visit and fixed quote in 24-48 hours
Every company relocation starts with a free preliminary technical visit. We go to your office, measure the actual volume, check access, elevators, building hours and special needs (heavy equipment, safes, custom furniture), and prepare a realistic plan.
Based on that visit, we provide you with a fixed quote in 24-48 hours: a set price, with no last-minute surprises or extra costs on moving day. You know exactly what the service includes and when it will be executed.
Working with Horizont Atlantic gives you:
- A single contact for the entire operation, within the island, between islands or with mainland Spain.
- 15 years of experience and own team based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
- Written planning so your activity doesn't stop.
- Comprehensive service: disassembly, IT packaging, transport, assembly, confidential archives and storage, all under one quote.
Tell us how many workstations you're moving, from where and to where, and we'll arrange a no-obligation technical visit. We'll make sure your company changes locations without losing a single working day.

It's not necessary. We plan the move so that your activity doesn't stop: we work outside office hours, on weekends, during night shifts or in phases (moving one department while the rest continues operating). The usual approach is to arrive on Friday or Saturday and have everything set up so that on Monday your team can sit down and continue working.
Yes, it is the option that companies request the most. Many buildings and business centers in Las Palmas, Mesa y López or the southern area only allow loading operations outside business hours, and we have it planned. We coordinate the day and time slot in the technical visit and we put it in writing in the relocation plan.
Yes. We disassemble workstations, cabinets, filing cabinets and partitions at origin, protect them, and reassemble them at the destination. If you provide us with the floor plan of the new office, each desk and cabinet lands directly in its place, without your staff having to move a single screw.
We pack and label each piece of equipment by workstation: computer, monitor, phone and cabling are identified with their origin and destination so that reinstallation is immediate. We use specific protection for screens, CPUs and servers, and we coordinate with your IT department or IT provider to ensure service downtime is minimal. We perform network reconnection hand in hand with your technical staff.
Yes. The documentation is transported in sealed, numbered and inventoried boxes, with a clear chain of custody so you know at all times what each box contains and where it goes. If your company requests it, our team signs confidentiality agreements, which is common in law firms, clinics or companies in the financial sector.
The price depends on the number of workstations, the volume of furniture and files, the access, and whether the relocation is within Gran Canaria, between islands or to the Peninsula. That's why we always carry out a free prior technical visit and, based on it, we provide you with a fixed budget within 24-48 hours: a defined price, with no surprises or additional costs on moving day.
