Removals from the mainland to La Gomera or El Hierro always involve a transhipment in Tenerife, which adds 24-48h to the usual transit. The REF applies (IGIC/AIEM, not VAT) and a DUA is processed for all incoming shipments. In the case of a change of residence, your used belongings may be exempt from the Canary Islands duty; we handle all the paperwork.
