What the Lanzarote - Málaga route is like

Lanzarote is the closest island to the mainland, and that is its concrete advantage in this route. We collect on the island, consolidate and ship from Puerto de los Mármoles (Arrecife) heading to Puerto de Cádiz, and from there we transport by road to Málaga in cross-dock. The indicative timeframe is about 8 days from shipment, plus collection, packaging and customs clearance.

Where we pick up in Lanzarote

We collect in Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise, Tías, Yaiza, Haría and the interior of the island. A detail worth knowing beforehand: Lanzarote has urban planning and aesthetic regulations that are heavily protected by César Manrique's legacy, and in some areas that translates to limited access, narrow roads and parking restrictions. Where we deliver in Málaga

The most common destination on this route is the strip of Mijas, Fuengirola and Benalmádena, which concentrates a large share of the province's tourism employment and is where most people coming from Lanzarote for work end up. We also deliver in Torremolinos, Marbella and Estepona, in Málaga city and throughout the rest of the province.

Groupage or exclusive container

Groupage is the usual option for domestic moves from the island: you pay for the actual volume you occupy. When what's being moved is business equipment, an exclusive container usually makes financial sense, because the volume is high and the date is rarely flexible: the premises closes on a specific day.

Departure formalities

When leaving the Canary Islands there is DUA and customs clearance. If it's a change of habitual residence and they are used personal goods, VAT exemption may apply.
