How your relocation reaches Lanzarote

Typical transit times are about 5 days from Cádiz, 6 from Valencia and 6 from Barcelona; from inland origins such as Madrid or Zaragoza the total is around 9 days because the cargo goes through a cross-dock first. Two particularities worth anticipating: a large part of the residential area follows the traditional protected architecture driven by César Manrique, with low houses, interior patios, narrow openings and access via narrow alleys where a large truck can't fit; and in the southern tourist developments there are time restrictions for loading and unloading. We solve this with a small delivery vehicle for the last mile and, when needed, facade hoisting. It's factored into the budget, not as a surprise on delivery day.

DUA and exemption for change of residence

As in the rest of the archipelago, DUA is mandatory to clear your relocation in Lanzarote and we handle it. If you move due to change of residence, used household items can qualify for the exemption with IGIC and AIEM relief: you need to prove previous registration outside the Canary Islands, register on the island and provide a valued inventory. It's a very common procedure in Lanzarote, where a significant part of relocations are from residents arriving from mainland Spain or other European countries, and we prepare it before the ship sails.
