DUA and exemption for change of residence

Due to the special tax regime of the Canary Islands, any shipment from mainland Spain requires customs clearance: the DUA is mandatory and we handle it. If the reason for the move is a change of residence, you can take advantage of the exemption that waives IGIC and AIEM on used household goods. You must provide proof of prior registration outside the Canary Islands, register in Gran Canaria, and provide a detailed inventory of what you're moving. We prepare the documentation and coordinate with customs so your container doesn't get held up.
