A move to La Gomera from the mainland is always resolved in two sea legs: the mainland route to Tenerife and, from there, the inter-island link to the Port of San Sebastián de La Gomera, which departs from Los Cristianos with several daily frequencies. There is no direct line from the mainland, so the transshipment is part of the service. Since you pay for the actual volume you occupy, it's also the most economical for the typical profile of this route: medium-sized homes and relocations of new residents. Where we deliver in La Gomera

We deliver throughout the island: San Sebastián de La Gomera, Valle Gran Rey, Playa de Santiago and Alajeró, Vallehermoso, Hermigua and Agulo. La Gomera is, together with El Hierro, the most demanding destination in the archipelago for the last mile: mountain roads that skirt ravines, continuous sharp curves, the crossing of Garajonay National Park and areas with pedestrian streets or very steep gradients. An articulated truck simply cannot reach most destinations. We work with small vehicles and reduced teams for that last phase and, when furniture doesn't fit through the staircase, with lifting equipment. We factor all of that in when quoting; it doesn't appear as an extra at delivery.

DUA and exemption for change of residence

The DUA is mandatory to clear the goods and we manage it. If the reason is a change of residence, your used belongings can qualify for duty-free status with exemption from IGIC and AIEM, by proving your previous registration outside the Canary Islands, registering yourself in La Gomera and submitting a valued inventory. This is something we often manage on this island, where many of those who arrive are new residents who settle permanently, often in Valle Gran Rey or Vallehermoso.

What the service includes
