What's the route and how long does it take?
The logistics of a move from the United Kingdom to the Canary Islands is maritime. Your belongings are picked up from your British home and consolidated at the nearest European port, from where they depart to the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From there we organize delivery to your final address on any of the islands.
- Departures: weekly, so there's no need to wait for a specific ship to be filled.
- Approximate transit time: around 21 days door to door, including pickup, consolidation, crossing, customs clearance and delivery.
- Fixed window: when confirming the quote we set a pickup date in the United Kingdom and an estimated delivery date at destination.
- Bridge storage: if your home in the Canary Islands isn't ready yet, we store your move in our facilities until you can receive it.
Customs and documentation
Since Brexit, the United Kingdom is a third country, and furthermore the Canary Islands is outside the EU's customs and tax territory. That means there is customs involved: your move needs an export clearance at origin and an import customs clearance at destination. It's not a procedure you have to handle yourself: we take care of all the customs procedures, which is precisely our specialty.

Options: groupage, exclusive container or plane
- Sea groupage (shared load): your move travels sharing a container with other shipments. It's the most economical option and the most common for apartments or partial moves.
- Exclusive container: a complete container just for you. It's worthwhile for entire houses or when you want total control of the schedule.
- Air transport: for urgent shipments or small volumes, when you can't wait for sea transit.
In the volume assessment we tell you which option really suits you, not the one that generates the most billing.
Which island we deliver your move to
We operate to all islands, not just the two capital islands. The transit and price vary depending on the final destination, because some islands require an additional transfer from Tenerife or Gran Canaria.
- Tenerife: direct delivery from the port of Santa Cruz, with our own base in El Mayorazgo.
- Gran Canaria: delivery from the port of Las Palmas, with office on the island.
- Lanzarote and Fuerteventura: very common destinations for the British community; they are served with transfer from Las Palmas.
- La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro: with transfer from Tenerife.

El tránsito orientativo es de unos 21 días puerta a puerta: recogida en tu domicilio británico, consolidación en el puerto europeo más cercano, travesía, despacho de aduanas y entrega en destino. Las salidas son semanales, así que no dependes de que se complete un contenedor concreto. El grupaje puede alargarse algo según la consolidación; el contenedor exclusivo da plazos más ajustados. Al contratar te damos una ventana concreta de recogida y una estimación de entrega.
El precio depende sobre todo del volumen real (metros cúbicos), de la modalidad (grupaje o contenedor exclusivo), de la isla de destino y de las condiciones de acceso en origen y destino: planta, ascensor, distancia de porteo o necesidad de elevador. Por eso no damos tarifas de catálogo: hacemos una valoración del volumen y emitimos un precio cerrado, sin cargos sorpresa al final.
Sí. Desde el Brexit el Reino Unido es país tercero y, además, Canarias está fuera del territorio aduanero y fiscal de la UE, así que tu mudanza necesita despacho de exportación en origen y despacho de importación en destino. Es nuestra especialidad y lo gestionamos nosotros: necesitarás un inventario detallado y valorado, tu documentación personal y los documentos que acrediten el traslado de residencia, que es lo que permite acogerse al régimen de bienes personales.
El grupaje (carga compartida) es la opción más económica y la más habitual en pisos, apartamentos o mudanzas parciales. El contenedor exclusivo compensa en casas enteras o cuando quieres controlar el calendario de punta a punta. En la valoración del volumen te decimos cuál te conviene de verdad según lo que tengas que mover, no la que más factura.
