Car transport between islands and with the mainland
We move your vehicle between islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro) and on the Canary Islands ↔ mainland routes. Whether you are moving to the islands or back to the mainland, we coordinate the car with the rest of your national move or move between islands so everything arrives together.
Documentation and insurance
To transport your vehicle we need its documents (registration document and technical data sheet) and your ID. The car travels insured for the entire journey. Bear in mind that, when moving a vehicle to the Canary Islands from the mainland, the IEDMT (registration tax) may apply: we advise you and you can read more in our guide on the IEDMT in the Canary Islands.
Price of transporting a car to the Canary Islands
The price depends on the route (between islands or with the mainland), the vehicle size and whether you choose door-to-door pickup and delivery. As a guide, transporting a passenger car on the mainland routes is usually between €1,200 and €1,800, but the exact price depends on your case. Ask us for a fixed, no-obligation quote.

Under maritime transport regulations, the vehicle is usually shipped empty or with very few belongings. If you need to move boxes or furniture, it is best to include them in your move. Ask us about your case and we will tell you what is allowed.
It depends on the route. Between islands it is usually a matter of a few days; on mainland routes the time is somewhat longer depending on ship frequency. We give you the estimated time when quoting.
